武重有正(@)197904 武重有正(@) 197905 週間朝日「できごトロジー」にて「大学対抗マイコンゲーム合戦」連載開始。 取材の申し込みがあって、慌ててアイディアを考えたのが「平安京エイリアン」。 当時のブーム「エイリアン」(映画)と「口裂け女」(都市伝説)を巧みに取り入れたゲーム。 この時点では「べっこう飴」というアイテムがあった事を知っている人はそれ程いないでしょう。 アイディアが出て数日後にはAppleII版エイリアン、その後TK80BS版、PC8001版と進化。 ****どなたか補足をお願いします****（誰も書かないので） 五月祭で2台のTK-80BSの対抗で「あっちむいてホイ」をやったような気がする。今で言うローカルエリアネットワークの走り、のつもり。作動プログラムの20倍以上のグラフィックデータを入力したような。島田 啓一郎197910電機音響(DOK)より、テーブルゲーム版平安京エイリアン発売。メインプログラマは荒川隆史氏(1977入学)、田畑光敏氏(1978入学)。Z80アセンブラで記述され、14KBにもなる当時としては非常に大きなゲームであった(なにせROMを7個も使っているのだ）。狸の皮の計算によると、1000台売れたらテキサスに家が建てられるはずだったのだが、当時のゲーム業界の著作権無法状態により、儲けは雀の涙であった。開発時の逸話は数限りなくある。（誰か書いて下さい）（誰も書かないので）
Apparently, in parallel with their Windows port, Hyperware also worked on a mobile version of Heiankyo Alien, which was at one point available for i-mode and J-Sky (later known as Vodafone live!). I can't personally attest to this version existing, how it looked or how it played, as I've only seen it be referenced on Hyperware's Heiankyo Alien "How To" page, but maybe there's still some working copies of the game out there. Will update when I found out more about it!
